Fab Chemo Kit

Packing for my chemo diva 🙂 usually includes: a medicine pouch (stalked w/ goodies like morphine… for her pain AND if the rest of us get bored), an iPod touch, headphones (duh), wet wipes AND hand sanitizer (hospitals are like Coachella for germs, gross), lollipops for dry mouth, clean-ingredient nutrition bars, veggie crisps & Pirate’s Booty (it’s like catnip), tea bags (neatly filed by herbal variety), applesauce, plastic silverware (I always forget to pack a spoon for the applesauce, she is not happy), dried ginger for preventing nausea, hard candies, fun magazines, a journal, inspirational quotes and a book of crossword puzzles (IDK, it was a gift from someone, okay?) *ALSO, not shown: her iPhone, iPad and Kindle… plus, a Louis Vuitton purse holding multiples of lotion, lipstick, lipgloss and compact magnifying mirrors (which she still needs her reading glass to see in.) Viola! Chemo prep, done. A mama as fabulous as mine makes chemo treatments look easy! xo
